There are two main sources of numerology teachings being Pythagoras and Hebrew.
The Phythagoras is based on teachings by Pythagoras the Greek mathematician, astrologer and philosopher born around 580 BC.
The Hebrew is based on the teachings also known as Kabbala, Qabala or Cabbala.
The difficulties with the Hebrew system is that its alphabet only has 22 letters. Both systems however reduce all letters and words into numbers.
Below is a conversion table detailing the numbers that each letter represent in the English alphabet and is based on the Pythagoras teachings.
