At the heart of numerology is that all letters in our name can be reduced to numbers and then further reduced into a single number which represents our destiny number.
The destiny number will vary depending on whether you use your birth name or a nickname and also change if you change your name. As such it is important when you are calculating your destiny number that you use the name that people call you.
If you use more than one name (such as your full name when working in a professional capacity and a nickname amongst friends and family) you may find it interesting to calculate both numbers.
